Funding - Assistive Technology and Home Modifications

Iowa COMPASS provides information to Iowa consumers and family members about potential sources of funding for the purchase of assistive technology equipment and services, including home modifications. When a consumer requests assistance in finding funding for a specific piece of equipment, Iowa COMPASS will ask a series of questions to determine which public programs and private organizations might be able to help. Iowa COMPASS will then send the caller a packet of information, which includes fact sheets on funding sources from the funding manual, the Equipment Key, the funding strategies brochure, IPAT legal brochure,  and general information.
